Amazing what some people think is sport? What amazes me about this (the morality of it aside) is how close the people are to the stallions and without any kind of fencing. I’d prefer not to be that close to fighting stallions.
with Mikael’s comment in mind….I was thinking it’d teach them all a lesson if one of those idiots who thinks this is ’sport’ got themselves pawed to death.

Thanks for posting this. I have been following efforts in the Philippines to try to stop horse fighting there and didn’t realize it was a sport in China too. I guess I need to broaden my search scope. Nice publicity for a country that is hosting the 2008 Olympics!

I am sickened by the site of such a beautiful and majestic creature being demoralized and abused in such a way. Horses are special and what a travesty to allow such a “sport” to exist……I say “sport” because I don’t believe there is anything “sporting” about it! Sick!
The socially transmitted behavior of this culture never fails to appal me. Their predominating attitudes and horrific behavior characterized by their disfunctional and pathetic lack of morals leaves me speechless
What hope is there when there are so many sick people in the world? It’s time these God forsaken countries got their act together, and started to behave like human beings.
Olympics? Forget them - I won’t be watching, neither will a lot of like minded people thank goodness!! China has a lot to answer for - both human and animal.

i learned about this a long time ago and i still find it impossible to figure out what they are thinking i mean they have very little chance of keeping the horse and anyways it is downright stupid and cruel!!!
I hate people make horses fight like this the should be arrested! I think people should star actually standing up for animals like this! If I could I would make those people pay!!!!!

It’s not just Horse fighting. China holds something they call the animal olypmics. They have monkeys that they tie up to bikes and make them ride the bikes. They have Kangaroos fighting humans and tons of other things. I heard about it on a website.

I honestly think all people need to respect animal rights. People who ignore these animals rights should be put through the same thing they do to the animals. Then they can see what it’s like to be brutally abused without being able to say anything or do anything about it.
